How GOAT fees work
GOAT charges on listing price only. 9.5% commission plus a $5 seller fee, then 2.9% to cash out.
- 9.5% is the rate for a seller rating of 90 or above, which is where every account starts. Each cancellation costs 10 rating points and moves you to 15%, 20%, then 25% commission; each completed sale earns 2 points back.
- The $5 seller fee is for US sellers using GOAT's prepaid shipping. Dropping the pair off instead makes it $0, so drop-off sellers can ignore that line.
- The 2.9% cash-out fee applies when you move earnings to ACH or PayPal, on the amount withdrawn — so it is really a fee on your net, not your sale. GOAT waives it during promotions. Minimum cash-out is $25.
